You’ve had your head in the sand and now…..
If you are like are like most people you have not looked at your numbers all year and yet now its tax time whether you like it or not. Since your fear of the IRS is greater than your fear of money you will at some point finally begin the journey of looking at your numbers.
The truth is we all know that we are supposed to be looking at our numbers on a regular basis but for most people it just isn’t a comfortable process. As a result, getting into a flow of creating and then connecting with your numbers is something that just never seems to happen.
I am curious though how that is really working out for you?
What I know to be true is that you are overpaying in taxes.
You have a sense of chaos with money most of the year.
You aren’t confident that you will have enough money to truly create and sustain the life you want to live.
If any of these statements are resonating with you just know that you are not alone. As a result I am working on a New Years gift for you and will have it ready next week!
Until then I would like to offer you a reframe if you are willing. You see the first step in having a healthy relationship with numbers and money is seeing it as the tool that it truly is. If you are willing I want to encourage you to notice all the feelings that come up for you when you think about sitting down to work with your numbers and finances and then ask yourself – what if that wasn’t true? What else could I be feeling if I simply recognized money as a tool?
I would love to hear what you come up with! Leave a comment below and let me know.
