We Made It!
Well, 2021 was a year not many of us will care to repeat when it comes to health issues! Hopefully, there were other things that were exciting and memorable and created a stronger platform to launch from for 2022.
Forward momentum is something that each of us craves, it’s actually part of our DNA. January is a month where we get back into routines after the holidays and begin to focus on the goals for the upcoming year.
As you begin to fill out the new calendar what will be the most important things to enter first?
During our CFO Players retreat I encourage attendees to think in 4 areas:
- Personal
- Business
- Finance
- Relationships
First, write down any and all goals for each area. Don’t filter with time, money, or knowledge.
Next, put time frames on each goal – hopefully you will have goals that are both short and long term.
For the goals that are to be achieved in the next 12 months, what are the things that will need to be in place to make them happen? Who needs to be involved? What time will be required? What budget
needs to be in place? Will any new skills be needed?
Now move it into your calendar!
The likelihood of staying the course is higher if you are working inside of a plan rather than winging it each day.
If developing better financial management systems is a part of your goals we are here to help!
