Sprint to the Finish
Having entered the final 60 days of the year, we are finding ourselves in the final preparations for our upcoming financial retreat “The CFO Agency Players Club” and we are sprinting to the finish.
As you enter this same period, what are you working on completing before the clocks strikes 12 and weenter 2016?
Reminiscing over the last year, what are your key learnings in 2015 and what strengths will you bring forward into the New Year? In dealing with a variety of clients, we experience a range of results… For some, the key is out with the old, in with the new… assessing what works, and what doesn’t, making adjustments, and changing the strategy. There are those that have achieved success and are looking towards adding an extra layer to their achievement. Finally, we encounter many who are looking to achieve a greater structure in their investment.
In all cases, I must offer this one suggestion… be very clear and specific.
Time continues to pass regardless of your ability to get everything you want accomplished and having a clear, specific goal will, in the long run, allow you to remain focused. Understandably, setting clear, specific goals can sometimes seem overwhelming at first. When we work with our clients we make plan based on where you are today, where you want to be tomorrow, and the best road to take to get there.
Each situation requires its own unique steps for success. The clearer you can be on your situation, the better.
Some questions to ask yourself:
- Are you looking at growing your company in 2016?
- Who are the key players that will need to be in place?
- What are the costs associated with each player?
- What are the marketing strategies that you will employ?
- What are the costs of implementing each strategy?
- What are the results you will expect?
- What will you charge for your services and products to ensure profitability for your company?
The further you drill down into the numbers, the more clarity you will have on how you spend your time
and energy. There is nothing more satisfying than hitting your numbers and it starts with knowing what numbers you are aiming for.
