My Favorite Things

My Favorite Things

It’s fall and that is my favorite time of year.  The days cool off, the nights get crisp and the colors of the sky and the landscape change.

It’s actually a very invigorating time for me.

One of my favorite parts (other than listening to Christmas music) is taking time to reflect on my year, focusing on finishing it strong and planning for the year to come.

As I reflect I celebrate!

This was something I had to learn to do.  For many years I would just keep plugging along, always reaching for the next exciting step.  I find for women especially we rarely take the time to truly acknowledge all the great steps we did take.  All the great results we did have.  The difference we made for so many people.

The way I was able to learn this skill, which by the way is very fulfilling, was to create my years with a plan.  I call mine an Abundance Plan.

Setting goals for a time frame, whether it be 30, 60  or 90 days, 1, 3 or 5 years is a skill all business owners learn to do.  The question is are you doing it?

I know for many years I didn’t.  I thought I was too new or not yet successful enough to take the time to do this.  Once I implemented planning I understood its power right away!

Ask yourself what will make you really happy in the next 90 days?

Then look at your bank account and at your calendar and create the steps to make it happen.

Make sure as you are setting your steps, you are building in the points of celebration!

You see living a joyful life is not something that will come some day, it is something you learn to create now and with every step you take.

Share your celebrations with us!  We love to hear how you are doing.
