TAXES
For some, even the word brings with it a sense of dread and burden.
What if it didn’t have to be that way? The truth is, if tax time is the only time you are looking at your numbers then really it’s too late and now you just have to deal with what was.
The real power in having numbers comes in being able to use them all year long and learning how to make decisions with them, rather than flying by the seat of your pants. And it makes tax time a breeze.
Yes, tax time is always going to have a flurry of activity, gathering the documents that only come out at the end of the year and getting all of that into the hands of your tax professionals.
Rather than these documents being what defines your tax filing information, they should just be a confirmation of what you already know.
Most people come to us when dealing with what was means writing a big check to the government. This is when the question of “there has to be a better way to do this” begins to crop up.
I believe it is our fiscal responsibility to keep as much money in our pocket as possible. The tax code is written in such a way that it is actually designed to help us do that.
Do you know why?
Because the truth is we can make a greater impact on the lives of our family and in our community with that dollar in our pocket than the government can make with that same dollar in their pocket, and the government knows that.
Yes, we want to pay some tax – we live in an amazing country with great freedoms and infrastructures that most countries don’t enjoy AND we want to take care of ourselves. During the challenges of the last two years we are seeing the results of not taking care of ourselves, and I fear we are not out of the woods yet.
So what would it look like in 2022 for things to be different for you when it comes to making tax time a smoother and more beneficial process? We are here to help, give us a call or click here and let’s see how we can be of service.
In Abundance,
