Salary: $60k to $90k/year
Location: Kalispell, Montana or Cheyenne, Wyoming
These are not remote or hybrid positions
Duties and responsibilities:
- Reconcile bank and other financial statements
- Review personal, corporate, trust, and foundation tax returns
- Process federal and state tax returns
- Comply at all times with all federal and state regulations
- Conduct tax interviews with clients via phone, email, and in-person
- Ensure confidence in financial reporting & educate clients where necessary
- Advise individuals regarding the tax code
- Assist clients with strategic financial planning and forecasting
- Ensure client files are organized and constantly updated
- Contribute to tax team cooperation and education
Requirements:
- CPA license in good standing
- 3-5 years experience in private accounting
- Computer skills including QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with small business, trust, and non-profit tax filings
- Experience with Lacerte or similar software
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with others
Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Eye for detail
- Sense of humor
- Pride in being a dependable team player
